If there's any symbol that represents four years of "academic hell," it's the Iron Ring. :)

Iron Ring 0T4
The Iron Ring is the dominant symbol of an engineer. It represents the professional responsibilities and obligations the wearer has to him/herself and society as a practicing engineer. These rings are supposedly made from fallen structures or disasterous projects -- a reminder that mistakes can have lasting reprocussions.
