These are some practical programs I have worked on.
Mojobear
Mojobear is the name of my personal research
and development engine for 3D graphics and user interaction.
It's still in its infancy, but I intend to develop it into a
platform to test all sorts of 3D graphics algorithms,
pipeline programs (vertex and fragment), and the like.
Progress is achieved in my spare time or wherever I can
branch the codebase for my academic work.Contribution: Everything - architecture, implementation, testing Technologies: Implementation in C++ (using an OO architecture, STL), OpenGL (currently supports a variety of features such as multitexture, vertex arrays, polygon-level shaders, etc.), SDL, DevIL More information ... Reaction Quake 3
Reaction Quake 3 (or simply known as "Reaction" or "RQ3")
is essentially a direct-as-possible port of Action Quake 2 (AQ2)
to Quake 3: Arena. Reaction embodies the atmosphere of your
favourite action movies with realistic weapons, stylish maps,
movie-style physics and exciting gun battles.Contribution: Original website designer, webmaster, then lead programmer up to first public release. Technologies: Quake 3 game source (C code), OpenGL. More information ... ShootOut!
ShootOut! is a very simple Java applet game. You must shoot
all the ducks on the screen with your mouse before you run
out of bullets or time. Every fifth level is rewarded with
a bonus stage where you must take down wooden target men.
The game gets much harder as you advance.
Contribution: Everything - game design, implementation,
artwork, testing, et al.Technologies: Java 1.2.2 (Java2D, multithreading, applet/event model) More information ... |
