A day-trip to downtown Toronto during reading week to see some cars with friends.

Canadian International Autoshow 2003
A few friends and I went down to checkout what's up in the automotive scene. We ended up doing lots of walking, picture-taking, and eating towards the end. Good time!

The Usual Information
  • Date: Saturday February 22, 2003
  • Place: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Skydome
  • Method of Travel: One loaded minivan
  • Weather: Cold and lots of flurries
  • People who went: 6 for the show, 7 for dinner
  • Number of cars seen: 998, 999, 1000, 1001, ...

Stuff I remember seeing?
  • H2: Little brother of the original.
  • Mazda Six: Very nice, sensible.
  • Infiniti G35 Coupe: Also very nice!
  • New VW Beetle: Same, except convertible.
  • Echo Hatchback: It's not as ugly as one would think.
  • Civic Hatchback Police Car: Souped up!
  • Ugly concept cars: All look same.
  • Other ugly cars: Lots of them.
  • Other nice cars: Some of them.
  • X-Box display: Unusually popular at an AUTOSHOW.
  • Expensive food stands: Milking the crowd.
